For the upcoming ITV drama The Dark, I developed the branding for the Thistle Moor Hotel, blending traditional Scottish country pub aesthetics with a modern refresh. I began with a hand-illustrated hanging sign of the hotel, painted by a signwriter, then modernised it into a vector logo for use across the full brand.

The identity nods to the name “Thistle Moor” through a deep blue colour palette and subtle tartan elements, reflecting Scottish heritage while remaining welcoming and homely. The branding extended across all materials, including letterheads, business cards, posters, notices, menus, door signage, and key cards.
